cortisone shots/synvist

Anyone here ever had cortisone shots or synvist shots into the knee. To help my arthritic knee I had a cortisone shot today to relieve pain and swelling,he wants to inject synvist which is an artificial type lubricant/cushioning type substance that is supposed to help when there is no more cartilage and the knee is bone on bone like both mine are. Doc told me not to train for a week, this is not acceptable to me. any thoughts.

i know that their is a NAS site for florida but i was just wondering if any other states have a state specific NAS website. If not i think that would be a great idea to either start them and put a link on the Main NAS site or to add a state specific group to the ANVIL. But then again im just one guy, what do i know

I think this is the first time NAS has ever had four contest on the same day in December. Georgia's Strongest man Christmas Classic run by Scott Helm's. 619 Muscle Strongman Challenge 2 hosted by Donnie "The Rock Rhodes". PA's on Kyle Bixler of team bix putting on Strongman Support Santa. South Atlantic Strongman Challenge V

The third leg of the Southern Slam has been posted. The South Atlantic will be Feb 13th, in Columbia (Presidents Day weekend). We will offer all weight classes provided I have 5 paid entries for that particicular class by the deadline. Otherwise, classes will get combined (same as always). Most are standard events, truck push will be something like a F-550, up a slight incline, deadlift will be approximately a 12-13" pick - straps, suits, briefs (basically everything) is allowed....

HELLO GUYS/GIRLS IN THE STRONGMAN ASSOC.

I am seeking weight plates like 35lbs and 45lbs plates. If anyone in the local veconity like VA/MD/PA that i can buy from you. I need about 4-35lbs and 4-45lbs plates .. Also looking for an axle.. if anyone can tellme where i can get a real real cheap one. I was told by Myka to go to the junk yard and buy one there and sand it and clean it up.. should be ok>???? help help me out anyone.

Biceps tendon repair

I tore my distal biceps tendon (partial) flipping a tire. My orthopedic surgeon tells me that surgical reattachment is an option for me. I was wondering if anyone has had this surgery and if they had good results.
