Battle on the Bayou II was a HUGE success!!! For an encore we are doing Capitol City Classic August 29th in downtown Baton Rouge, LA. This show will also be a
charity event, but attatched as entertainment to a larger event. The event that the Strongman competition will be attatched to is called the Taste of Tiger
Tailgating (although I believe the event owner is changing the name this year). For the past 6 years at the start of the LSU Football season 30-40 restaurants
from the Baton Rouge area converge on the Baton Rouge Rivercenter's 70,000sqft Exhibition Hall. They set up with a band and all of their food for 3 hours
to celebrate LSU Football and raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. The crowd is usually around 3,000. Well this year Strongman is the
entertainment. There will be 3 events outside in front of the Mississippi River levee and the Ex Hall and 3 events inside the Ex Hall with all of the food
vendors and such.

Truck Pull
Tire Flip
Fingal's Fingers
Atlas Stones
This is going to be a great event, but unfortunately we will be on a bit of a time crunch with the street closure and the event itself. With that in mind, I can't accept more than 25 entries for this competition, and it will be run fast! It will be open to Master's, LW and HW Division. Masters will compete with the LWs. Travis Ortmayer has already told me that he will be here to tackle the Fingers before WSM, and I'm hoping that encourages some other Pros to come and do an exhibition at this show as well. Gonna be a fun show, come get you some South Louisiana culture and some absolutely incredible food! Remember, this is a qualifier for NAS Nats which will also be in South LA! See you in August!
